Big Sandy is a beautiful location. Beds are comfortable. Plenty of assorted glasses, dishes and a mixture of cooking utensils, pots and pans. Cupboards are getting crowded with prior guests leftover items. Coffee filters, paper towels and toilet tissue provided.
This property could use some TLC. Smoke alarm was detached and sitting on a dresser in the master bedroom. Furniture is well-used. Recline in the lower level couch not functional. Closet space used for storage. Exterior cleaning needed. Plexiglass around patio covered with toddler handprints and cobwebs. A screen door on the main entrance would allow fresh air circulation without annoying flies and bugs.
Seven bath towels for 10 guests wasn’t adequate. Especially in a sleep-13 villa.

We had a great time at this cabin for our annual friend reunion! There was plenty of space for 11 adults and 2 babies. The beach was about a 3 minute walk from our cabin, and the water on Big Sandy Lake was great for swimming and floating. We had a couple of issues with the TV volume and lights, but the host responded quickly to these issues. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely come back!

The place was great! Fit our 2 families of 4 perfectly. The issues that we had was with the property management company - the listing said it came with shampoo, conditioner and soap in the showers and it did not. A fuse in the upstairs tripped so there were no upstairs lights and they never came to fix it. We happen to run into the owners and they fixed it. Lastly, we asked about an earlier checkin and they never confirmed and the pool at the resort was out of commission and we didn’t proactively hear about this.

The unit was pretty clean and in a beautiful location. Unfortunately the pool was closed while we were there which would have been nice to use since it was not that warm out. We could walk to the restaurant from the unit and they have a beautiful patio and deck. The food was fine. The AC worked well even upstairs so that was nice! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay on Big Sandy Lake. Our property provided plenty of room for our multi-family group. The lake and grounds were beautiful; the play area was especially appreciated. We visited the Big Sandy Fire Tower and the Big Sandy Dam—fun! We were a little disappointed that the resort’s pool area was closed for now. Any minor issues/suggestions about the property were shared with the management company. Overall, we would like to come back again to this property.

This place was VERY spacious for our group. The access to the pool and other amenities was great. We have lots of space to cook in the kitchen and lots of utensils and pans.
